At this meeting we will discuss issues concerning parents with young children especially related to expectations regarding Christian education/Formation to feed back to the Sunday School planning group. We'll have drinks and snacks and plenty of time for socializing as well! If you would like to bring an appetizer to share, please do. Please let Julie Modlin (juliemodlin@yahoo.com) know if you will be able to attend or would like additional information. In addition, if you have any ideas for topics of future discussion, please feel free to make suggestions.

ON SABBATICAL

Our Rector, The Rev. Martha Macgill, is on sabbatical until September for several months of rest, refreshment, writing, and nourishment. In her absence, our Associate Rector, will tend to pastoral and liturgical matters. Senior Warden Alma Bell and Junior Warden Steve Howard along with the vestry will take care of any business matters that should arise including our ongoing accessibility and renovation project. Please keep Martha and her family in your prayers.

Our Prayer for Martha:

As a family of Christians, we proclaim our love for God, Jesus, and one another. As a family of Christians, we send out Martha on a journey of faith. As a family of Christians we know that time and distance do not separate us from love for one another in Christ. As a family of Christians, we pray, dear God, that you will bless Martha, Bryan, Jack and Anna and this congregation during this sabbatical, so that we all may grow in faith. We ask this in the name of Christ, who connects us all in the Holy Spirit. Amen.
