CLEWELL OPEN HOUSE AFTER CHURCH - SUNDAY, MAY 7, 12:30-2PM
Bill and Anne Clewell invite you to stop by and see the progress on the houses we are rehabbing in the district just east of Bolton Hill. Greenmount West, the residential section of the Station North Arts District, is experiencing revitalization and our personal goal is to help increase middle-income, home-ownership here. There are a number of interesting initiatives identified by the New Greenmount West Community Association, in coordination with the Station North Arts District, to support current and future residents - child care and after school programs, a program to move current residents from renters to home-ownership, neighborhood library and computer lab, skill-building training in restoration crafts, a new Jesuit work/study high school and more. We're excited to be part of helping to create a healthy city neighborhood.
Directions: East on North Ave. Turn RIGHT/South on Barclay (east boundary of the Baltimore City Public School Headquarters). We're in the first block below North Ave. at 1810, 1812, 1814 and 1816 Barclay St. Plenty of parking on Barclay or behind the houses. Wear sturdy shoes.

ON SABBATICAL
Our Rector, The Rev. Martha Macgill, is on sabbatical until September for several months of rest, refreshment, writing, and nourishment. In her absence, our Associate Rector, will tend to pastoral and liturgical matters. Senior Warden Alma Bell and Junior Warden Steve Howard along with the vestry will take care of any business matters that should arise including our ongoing accessibility and renovation project. Please keep Martha and her family in your prayers.
Our Prayer for Martha:
As a family of Christians, we proclaim our love for God, Jesus, and one another. As a family of Christians, we send out Martha on a journey of faith. As a family of Christians we know that time and distance do not separate us from love for one another in Christ. As a family of Christians, we pray, dear God, that you will bless Martha, Bryan, Jack and Anna and this congregation during this sabbatical, so that we all may grow in faith. We ask this in the name of Christ, who connects us all in the Holy Spirit. Amen.
