The flowers this morning are given to the Glory of God and in thanksgiving for the second birthday of Christopher Ray Moyer.
The flowers at the Columbarium are given in memory of Howard Eichmiller on the one year anniversary of his death.
The aumbry candle burns to the Glory of God and in thanksgiving for the clients of the Samaritan Community.
The peace candle burns this week for peace in Palestine.

PARENT/COUPLE GROUP - The second meeting of the Parent/Couple Group will be held on Sunday February 12, from 4-6pm at the home of John Webb and Julie Modlin. The group will socialize and discuss a short selection from My Grandfather's Blessing by Rachel Naomi Remen. The reading will be forwarded to those who are able to come. Extra help will be on hand to help with children if needed. Please bring an appetizer or dip to share. Though not limited to parents and couples, the intention of the group is to meet and discuss being a parent, educating children in our church, being a healthy part of a couple, and learning and sharing from one another.

THE CANTICLE SINGERS OF BALTIMORE CELEBRATE WINTER & VALENTINE'S DAY! A concert of seasonal music sung by a women's chamber choir on Sunday, February 12 at 4:30pm at Trinity Episcopal Church --120 Allegheny Avenue in Towson. Tickets $15; Seniors or students $5 (email Beth Casey to reserve your ticket at the door) This is a rather short concert - plenty of time afterwards for a nice dinner out to celebrate Valentine's Day! BOOK CLUB - Wednesday, February 22, 2006 - The book to be discussed is Plainsong by Kent Haruf. A story of people’s ability to redeem themselves and heal wounds by moving to community. Please let the office know if you plan to attend. We meet at church - usually in the upper parish house – from 7.30 to 9 PM. Some of us gather at B’s around 6PM for fellowship and a light supper. THE BALTIMORE CHORAL ARTS SOCIETY will perform Sunday, February 26, 3PM in the beautifully renovated sanctuary (with its rare collection of Tiffany stained glass windows) of Brown Memorial Park Avenue Presbyterian Church at 1316 Park Avenue, in Bolton Hill. Tom Hall will conduct accompanied by Leo Wanenchak on piano and John Walker on organ. Tickets are $25 and $20 for seniors and students, and will be available at the door. There is plenty of free parking available. Call 410-523-7070 for more information. SECOND ANNUAL HEALING DAY AT MEMORIAL!! The second Healing Retreat Day will be at Memorial on March 11th. Mark your calendars for this very special day. Time will be announced later. This years theme is "Time: Tyranny or Gift." We will have discussion, meditation, and yoga and other relaxing physical activities. Everyone enjoyed this time away form the everyday stress last year. The Pastoral Care Committee is working on making this, another special day for all attendees.
THE INQUIRER'S CLASS will begin meeting the first week of March. We had a huge turnout at our informational meeting on Sunday. If you think you might like to be included on this spiritual journey, please email or call Stewart+. 410-669-0220
PRAYER LIST: If someone you love is on the prayer list and can be removed to another section of the list OR THANKS BE TO GOD – can be taken off, please let the office know. Our prayer list is again growing long – but we never want to take off anyone off that needs to be there.
Samaritan Community: FOOD PANTRY : juice, vitamins, cold remedies, fruit, and cerealEUTAW-MARSHBURN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL students need both LISTENERS and READERS. The 2nd graders need folks who will both read to them and listen to them read. The time is mostly in the morning first thing but can be adjusted in cooperation with the teacher. This would be for 1/2 hour or so at a time . The length and frequency can be arranged to suit the volunteer. Please let Pam Fleming know if you can be a 2nd grade helper.
